diane lane My name is Diane Lane I am 37 years old and I live in the North of England ,United Kingdom.From an early age I have had a natural ability to paint and draw.I obtained an HND at Cleveland college back in 1992 .I have a love of beautiful images and try to incorparate a little of myself into my paintings.As a little girl I would sit for hours painting plants,animals anything I could lay my hands on.I became increasingly frustrated with myself as I tried to achieve perfection.I would spend hours painting the detail on a leaf for instance until it looked real.As I have grown older I have progressed my style into another dimension.I now paint from within using my feelings and passion .My technical ability is of great advantage to me and I was told by a Royal college professer that I have a natural eye for perspective and reminded him of a young Vincent Van Gogh.His words have stayed with me ,I was just 16 years old at the time.I am also available to be commissioned I am very versatile and can produce anything you require from a highly detailed watercolour of your favourite pet to a more contemporary piece like the examples I have on site.Thankyou for your interest Diane Lane
